Perry boys basketball throttled South Hamilton for the second time this season on Friday, 88-32. On a night seniors were celebrated, history was made. Owen Myers broke the single game record for points by scoring 47. The record was previously held by Brendan Ivory, which he scored 45 against West Central Valley in 2019. Owen also joined the 1000 point club in the victory becoming the 5th Bluejay to do so.

Perry wasted no time scoring 30 points in each of the first 2 quarters to take a 60-13 lead.  The Bluejays would only score 28 points in the second half as Perry coasted to the 88-32 victory.  Also honored Friday night was Eric Lagos, Geren Kenney, and Tyler Gomez, and Geremi Alfaro.  After his historical performance, Owen Myers will join the Raccoon Valley Bank PM Sports Mag tonight at 6P on KDLS.

The 12-7 Bluejays travel to Des Moines tomorrow to take on Heart of Iowa Conference Champion Grand Vie Christian.
