
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams are looking for a couple of conference victories as they hit the road to Boone tonight.
ADM girls and boys defeated Boone the first time around on January 10th, where the girls were victorious 57-19 and the boys dominated 77-59. In that first matchup for the girls, Tiger sophomore Alexis Maxwell broke out for 21 points, including four three pointers and went five for five at the free throw line. On the boys side, ADM junior Hudson Lorensen led all scores with 29 points, with junior Hudson Shull with 15 points, and senior Cade Fisher contributing with 12.
Tiger girls are 12-8 overall (8-6; 4th inside the Raccoon River Conference), with the Toreadors are 5-14 (0-13; 9th RRC). ADM boys are 14-4 on the season (11-3; 2nd RRC), and Boone is 7-10 overall (3-10; 8th RRC). The games will be played at Boone High School, with girls at 6pm, and boys to follow at approximately 7:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
