The Greene County Extension Office is finishing up its last set of commercial pesticide applicator training. 

Greene County Extension Director Jeff Lamoureux says the commercial ag and weed applicator training is scheduled for tomorrow from 9-11:30am at the Extension Office. The final applicator training for 2024 continuing instructional course is next Wednesday, February 19th for the ag pest control and seed treatment, also from 9-11:30am at the Extension Office. The cost to attend either training is $45 per person.

Lamoureux points out if there are any re-shows that someone can attend if they missed a scheduled commercial pesticide applicator training.

“Call (Office Manager) Cindy (Adamson) and see. There might be some opportunity for that, but we’ll start the new series for the 2025 (for those who need to re-certify), we’ll start scheduling those here in the near future too. So, kind of be on the lookout for those as well.”
