With the expected cold temperatures coming in, Dallas County Emergency Management will offer several sites as warming stations.

According to Emergency Management Specialist Lynn Royer, Dallas County will have a select amount of locations, starting today through Friday. Some of the sites include the Perry Public Library, Perry’s Des Moines Area Community College VanKirk Career Academy, the Adel Public Library, the Minburn Public Library, the Roy R Estele Memorial Library in Dallas Center, the Dexter Public Library, and the Redfield Public Library. Royer asks that people please call ahead before arriving at the warming centers. The full list of warming centers in Dallas County can be found below.
