The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Basketball team has learned their first round assignment to begin the playoffs.

ADM will be hosting Perry High School this coming Wednesday for the Class 4A Region 2 Quarterfinal game. So far, the Jayettes are sitting at 5-15 on the season, representing the Heart of Iowa Conference, while the Tigers are 13-8, and are out of the Raccoon River Conference. This season, Perry sophomore Lily Myers is averaging 10 points per game on 38 percent shooting and also grabbing 12 rebounds. On ADM’s side, senior Kelli Storck is scoring approximately 9.4 points per contest on 49 percent shooting, with freshman Ella Subbert at nine points, and sophomore Alexis Maxwell is at 8.7 points per game. 

The teams haven’t met since December of 2023, where the Tigers won 55-15, with ADM taking the last 12 games. The game will be played in Adel at ADM High School at 7pm on Wednesday and Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
