In round one of the Class 2A Region 8 boys basketball bracket on Monday, the Panorama Panthers take on the Southeast Valley Jaguars as both teams look to advance to the regional championship, and boys state basketball tournament. The Panther boys enter Monday night’s contest at 3-18 while the Jaguars currently sit at 11-9.

Sophomore Cruz Crandall currently leads the Panthers in points with 172 so far this season and averages 8.6 points per game. Crandall also shares the ball with his fellow teammates, leading the Panthers in assists with 56 as he looks to guide and assist Panorama towards an upset victory over Southeast Valley.

The Panthers and the Jaguars go to battle in the first round of Class 2A Region 8 basketball action on Monday night as the Panthers make the trip to Southeast Valley High School.
