The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce recently brought in their newest employee to the staff at the beginning of 2025.

Casey Wheeler is serving as the Chamber’s Communications and Member Engagement Coordinator. Wheeler shares that she grew up in the Adel area, graduating from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School in 2012 and attended the University of Northern Iowa, where she has a bachelor’s degree in interactive digital studies.

She reveals that she moved to western Iowa when she met her husband, but returned to Adel after having kids to raise her family. Wheeler announces that her interest in working with the Adel Partners Chamber stemmed from reacquainting herself with the community. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that even though the city has grown, the residents are dedicated to helping wherever they can.

“They are always so kind and willing to jump in head first whenever there’s a problem that arises. It’s been great seeing that as a community member and I’m really looking forward to seeing that just from the chamber perspective.”

Wheeler details that she’s in charge of the social media for the Adel Partners Chamber, while also talking with chamber members to figure out the best way to improve their businesses. She’s looking forward to working behind the scenes with all the different events the chamber is involved with.
