
The girls and boys basketball teams from Greene County High School will be in action tonight in the opening round of postseason play. The girls play in Cherokee at Washington High School vs. the Class 3A number 5 Braves after Saturday’s originally scheduled Class 3A Region 5 game was moved to tonight because of the weather. The Greene County boys will be in Pleasantville tonight vs. the home standing Trojans in a 2A District 12 contest.
The girls’ contest can be heard on KDLS 1310 AM and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The boys’ game will be broadcast on KGRA 98.9 FM and also streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Both games tip off at 7 o’clock.
The girls’ game has the 18-3 Braves hosting the 0-22 Rams while the boys’ contest have 11-10 Pleasantville at home with the 4-18 Rams.
