The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Wrestling team represented well at the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 3A District Meet, as they are taking four to the state tournament.

ADM advanced Grayson Sutter (138), Ethan Johnson (144), Jon Hatchitt (190), and Karver Sutton (215). Hatchitt won first place after he defeated Johnston’s Mason Roethler by a 10-0 decision, Sutter lost to Waukee’s Lincoln Miller by a 6-0 decision in the first place match, Johnson was beat by Dowling Catholic’s Airic Conn by a fall (43 seconds), and Sutton came in second place after falling to Johnston’s Kolby Gibbons (1:16).

ADM announced that Hatchitt and Sutton are making their second appearance at the state tournament, while Johnson and Sutter will be going for their first time. The Tigers will be competing at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines this Wednesday through Saturday.
