The Perry Elementary School is in the midst of getting updated as Superintendent Clark Wicks shares the timeline for the next several months.
Wicks tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the school is in the design phase as workers from SitelogIQ will be upgrading different parts of the building. He mentions that the board is currently discussing the legalities relating to the bonds before the work from SitelogIQ can be done. Wicks reveals that there are plans in 2025 to put new amenities on site at the property.
“This summer, we hope to have grading and a couple of playgrounds in (the) construction process, so by the time August comes, we should have a couple of nice looking playgrounds.”
Wicks acknowledges that the preparation work of the design plan will continue throughout the spring and summer, and he notes that SitelogIQ’s work inside the building won’t begin until Spring 2026.
