The West Central Valley Wildcats enter the first round of Class 2A Region 7 basketball as the Wildcats travel to Chariton High School to take on the Chargers tonight. The Wildcats enter tonight’s playoff single elimination match up at 5-17 while the Chargers currently sit at 12-9.

The Wildcats look to keep their season alive as they look at an uphill battle against Chariton. West Central Valley is lead in points by sophomore Colton Lindsay who averages 13 points per game and looks to guide the Wildcats through the first round.

Boys basketball play off action begins tonight for the Wildcats who look to keep their post season dreams alive. Tip off is scheduled for 7pm.
