
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball team was on the road in a non-conference game versus Norwalk on Tuesday.
ADM beat Norwalk 61-54. In the first quarter, the Tigers and Warriors were pretty even as ADM led 11-9. The second quarter continued with the scoring as the game remained close with the Tigers taking a 24-20 advantage into the halftime locker room. ADM’s offense erupted for 21 points in the third quarter as they built a double digit lead of 45-35. In the final frame, the Warriors would make a run, but the Tigers kept their distance as they won the game 61-54.
ADM’s junior Hudson Lorensen led the Tigers with 18 points, followed by junior Trey Bryte with 16, junior Hudson Shull had 12, and it was senior Cade Fisher with 11 points. On Norwalk’s side, they were charged by senior Grady Sigrist, who led all scores with 19 points, then senior Mason Johnson with 14, and senior Timothy Koerselman with 13 points. The Warriors drop to 10-11 to end the regular season, and the Tigers improve to 17-4 with the final regular season game tomorrow against Newton in Adel.
