For the first time this winter season, a popular outdoor activity is open in Greene County.
Greene County Conservation Board Director Tanner Scheuermann says the sledding hill at Seven Hills Park will be open this weekend. The popular attraction will be open for free to the public from 1:30-4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Scheuermann tells Raccoon Valley Radio people must bring their own sleds as none will be available on site to use and dress appropriately for the weather.
He adds that the shelterhouse will also be open with the fireplace on for an enjoyable environment and the automatic rope pull will be running to assist sledders back up the hill.
