Joel Cooper remains alive at the boys state wrestling tournament at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines as the lone Panther representing Panorama at state. Cooper, will face off against Jacob Bishop out of Hinton at 285 in the afternoon session of the state tournament this afternoon. The session is set to begin at 1:30pm.

Cooper would be one of five Panthers representing Panorama at the state tournament. Landon would go 0-2, Blake would go 0-2, Gabe would win 2 and loss 2, while Will Knapp would win a match, but lose too leaving Joel Cooper as the last remaining Panther at the state tournament. Cooper currently sits at 2-1, as he enters the blood round with a victory pushing Cooper towards the podium.

Cooper helps close out the afternoon session today as mid day session is set to begin at 1:30pm.
