Playoff basketball action begins for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls basketball team as the Mustangs prepare to face off against the Ballard Bombers tomorrow night. Tipp off is scheduled for 7pm at Dallas Center-Grimes High School Meadows Gym with coverage online on KDLS2. The Mustangs enter tomorrow night’s contest at 17-4 while the Bombers currently sit at 7-15.

The Mustangs girls earned their place in the semifinals of regional basketball action as the Bombers first had to face off against and defeat the Grinnell Tigers. The winner of the contest between the Mustangs and the Bombers will go on to face the winner between the Carlisle Wildcats and Newton Cardinals for the regional championship match up. The regional champion punches their ticket to the girls state basketball tournament.
