The Jefferson Rotary Club is now accepting grant applications for the 2025 cycle.

According to the local Rotary Club, they are going to give priority for grant funds for consideration to non-profit organizations that are wanting to do projects or programs with one of  three key areas of the Rotary International focus in mind including the health of women and children, peace and conflict resolution, as well as literacy. Other areas that the Jefferson Rotary Club will consider are clean water, community and economic development, disease prevention and treatment, along with protecting the environment projects.

The grants that the Jefferson Rotary Club gives to worthy projects and causes are from the annual charity auction that happens annually. Over the past 26 years, Jefferson Rotary has given over $500,000 in grants to local schools, libraries, community organizations and others that improve everyone’s quality of life.

Grant applications are due March 28th and must be either mailed or dropped off to Mumma and Pedersen Law Firm in care of Jonathan Law, who is the Rotary Club President, or to the main rotary club office at P.O. Box 105 in Jefferson, along with emailing them to jeffersoniarotary@gmail.com. Grant applications are available at Royal Jewelers or by clicking here
