A Jefferson-based business made a financial contribution to a non-profit organization that helps feed and clothe less unfortunate people.
Marketing Manager for Jefferson Telecom Jody Schulte tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Jefferson Telecom donated $500 to the local food pantry, the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC). Schulte says that during a holiday initiative, Jefferson Telecom had pledged to donate to ARC for every internet upgrade that was made before the end of 2024, which resulted in the $500 donation.
Jefferson Telecom General Manager Jamie Daubendiek says that the contribution reflects their continued commitment to helping local families access essential means, especially during the holiday season. He adds that the ARC provides an important service to those in need.
