Five Panorama Panthers made their way to the Wells Fargo Arena for the boys state wrestling tournament. Unfortunately, the Panthers would not find their way onto the podium this year. Senior Joel Cooper ends his senior season with a record of 31-11, and would work his way back in the consolation side of the bracket winning three straight matches.

Cooper would fall in his first match at the state tournament, as Vinny Zappia would defeat Cooper by decision 5-0. Cooper would bounce back and win his next three matches striving for the podium, but would just fall short falling to Jacob Bishop of Hinton by fall in 1:51 seconds in the blood round, keeping Cooper and the Panthers from reaching the podium.

This officially wraps up the season for the Panorama Panthers boys wrestling team and Joel Coopers career as a Panther.
