All that’s left to wrestle are the Championship matches at the 2025 State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines. The daytime session on Saturday saw place winners determined for third through eighth place and 13 individuals placing third through eighth from the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area will stand on the podium at Wells Fargo Area tonight. They will be joined by the five area wrestlers who have reached tonight’s Championship matches.

All three classes will wrestle at the same time tonight with 106 lbs. title bouts up first. Dylan Williamson, a Van Meter freshman, is up first around 6 p.m. vs. Slater Thomas of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Greene County senior Brent Dennhardt meets Tucker Wheeler of PCM (Monroe) for the 2A title at 157 lbs. and at 285 it’s Jadyn Cooper of Winterset against Kaden Clark of PCM. In 1A Nodaway Valley teammates Ashton Honnold at 215 and Trenton Warner at 285 are in the finals. Honnald faces Nathan Beitz of Maquoketa Valley (Delhi) and Warner meets Wyatt Hanna of Lake Mills.
