The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will start with a public hearing about issuing not to exceed $2 million in general obligation bonds for projects that were identified in the capital improvements plan. Then, the Council will consider approving the resolution to authorize levying for the bond over the next fiscal year, following the hearing. Next, the Council will consider for approval the first reading to amend an ordinance about the sale and use of fireworks, amend an ordinance to change the sewer rates, and a plat of survey for Greene County Development Corporation.

Additionally, the Council will also consider approving increasing the membership fees for the Greene County Community Center and Jefferson Community Golf Course, as well as consider purchasing a trailer and locator for the Water Department, an engineering agreement for the Westwood sidewalk project, a proposal for a Greenewood Community Center and golf course development study, and the quarterly funding request for GCDC.
