The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang boys have their first playoff game tonight as the Mustangs play host to the 5-16 Fort Dodge Dodgers. The Mustangs enter tonight’s play off contest at 17-5 going on a ten game win streak. If the Mustangs get their 11th straight win defeating the Dodgers tonight, the Mustangs advance to take on the Ankeny Hawks at Ankeny High School on Friday night.

Kyle Cason has had a tremendous final season as the senior enters tonight’s contest with 484 points helping the Mustangs average 61.5 points per game. Cason, currently is second in the state in free throws made this season with 126 so far this season shooting 89.4% from the charity strip. Dallas Center-Grimes looks to defeat the Dodgers at home tonight to advance to the second round of Class 4A region 8 basketball and face off against the Ankeny Hawks at Ankeny High School.

Coverage for the playoff match between the Mustangs and the Dodgers begins tonight on KDLS at 6:45pm as tip off is scheduled for 7pm from DCG Meadows Gym.
