Perry boys basketball begins playoff action tonight.  Dan Marburger Court will host North Polk and Perry.  The Bluejays enter this match up 13-9 as the Comets are 9-12.  North Polk is apart of the Raccoon River Conference.  This is the first time Perry and North Polk will meet since sharing the Raccoon River Conference for one year, 2020-2021.  Perry fell in both of those contest, 53-9 and 64-21.  That following year Perry moved to the Heart of Iowa Conference.  This Bluejay squad is significantly better than the last time these two met.

The Bluejays have 3 scorers who average in double figures: Owen Myers 19.1, Geren Kenney 18.0, and Gustavo Drahos 14.7.

The Comets are led by Jack Spieker 9.9 ppg and Rocky Bartleman 6 rpg.

Perry is coming off 72-62 loss to Fort Dodge and North Polk is riding a two game win streak after topping Des Moines Hoover and Boone.

Tipoff is set for 7P at Perry High School.  The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network and KDLS will have the Perry Hy Vee Pregame Show at 6:45P.
