The West Central Valley School Board discussed some proposed building projects in their February meeting.

Superintendent Rusty Shockley says that the projects have been discussed over the last several meetings, and at the most recent one, they looked at different ways to fund them, and how construction might go with proposed plans. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio about a possible auditorium.

“Originally when the high school was built, there was a proposed auditorium that ended up getting cut. So the site’s going to be very similar to where it would have been originally, which is kind of on the Southwest corner of the building.”

Shockley mentions that they are also looking at improving the industrial tech building, and improving locker room facilities at the athletic complex.
