The AC/GC Chargers girls basketball team finished their season Wednesday night.

The Chargers started the season with a win over IKM-Manning in November, and continued the streak into December by taking down West Central Valley, Woodward-Granger, Van Meter, AHSTW, and Panorama before the winter break.

After returning from break, the Chargers faced their first loss, falling to Des Moines Christian. From there, the team returned to the win column, finishing January with victories over Madrid, Exira-EHK, Woodward-Granger, Earlham, CAM, Ogden, Panorama, Clarinda, Ogden and Interstate 35. AC/GC continued into February with even more wins, taking down West Central Valley, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Pleasantville, Madrid, Earlham and Central Decatur, before falling to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in the Class 2A Region 1 Final. The team finished 22-2 on the season, the best record the program has seen.
