The AC/GC Chargers boys basketball team had an amazing year for the 2024-25 season.

The Chargers started off with wins against West Central Valley, Woodward-Granger, Van Meter, AHSTW and Panorama in December to get the season going. They returned from winter break with a win against Des Moines Christian, before falling to Madrid, then returning to the win column against Exira-EHK. The January win streak continued with victories over Woodward-Granger, Earlham, CAM, Ogden, Panorama, Clarinda, Ogden and Interstate 35. Victories kept piling up in February, as the team beat West Central Valley, Coon Rapids-Bayard, and Pleasantville, but once again fell to Madrid before beating Underwood, Exira-EHK, Audubon and IKM-Manning, with the last two games in the post season. The final game for the Chargers was against Remsen St. Mary’s in the Substate Final, where they fell, and ended the season 22-3.
