Greene County and Paton-Churdan Speech Teams did well at this past Saturday’s District Individual Speech contest.
According to Greene County Speech Coach Kelley Gray, six students received Division I-ratings and have advanced to the state contest. One student, Maggie Mikkelsen who was the only one to perform in two categories, will get to compete in both at state, including Reviewing and Literacy Program. The other students that qualified were Randa Linberg, Ava Binkley, Maelee Schmidt and Kamden Kinne.
Paton-Churdan Speech Coach Amanda Tasler says seven students received a Division I-rating and will also move onto the state contest.
