Karagyn Whelchel connects on a jump shot.

The Jayettes basketball season is completed.  Karagyn Whelchel averaged just over 7 points a game for a second straight year.  The junior did step up in passing.  With the ball in her hands more, Karagyn led Perry with 2.5 assists per game.  She also had a team best 58.6% clip from the free throw line.  Her 7.2 points per game was second on the team.  The Jayettes struggled from three this year as the team shot just 17.4%.  Karagyn was the top girl on the team making 28 threes.

Perry finished the year with 5-17 winning 25% more games this year.
