The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Wrestling team recently wrapped up a successful season, as many athletes were honored with postseason awards.

ADM had over 15 boys out for wrestling this year, and were able to take four of them to the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines. According to the Tigers, Karver Sutton was given the Gas Tank award, Brock Wine was named the Newcomer of the Year, the Technical Award went to Ethan Johnson, Rhett Boston was granted with the Toughness Award, the Most Improved was Landon Moorhead, and the team’s Most Valuable Player was Jon Hatchitt.

ADM also gave Hayden Schneider the Most Improved Award on the junior varsity team as well as naming Talan Hansen as the JV MVP. The Tigers took Sutton, Hatchitt, Johnson, and Grayson Sutter to the state tournament as Hatchitt finished in eighth place in the 190 pound weight class category.
