An annual event will soon be coming up in the Adel community, as an organization is accepting nominations for individuals and businesses that made a difference in 2024.

The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their 2025 Celebrate Adel event in late April. According to the chamber, people are welcome to vote for who they believe deserves to be named the Business of the Year and the Citizen of the Year.

During last year’s program, Carole Schlapkohl of the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Scholarship Program was awarded the Citizen of the Year and the Business of the Year award went to the Fiesta Mexican Restaurant. The chamber announces that the nominations must be filled out online and are due by this Monday, March 10th. The Celebrate Adel event is happening on April 24th at the Country Lane Lodge.
