Three bills were unanimously passed in the House of Representatives last week, and one Legislator shares about them.

District 23 Representative Ray Sorensen says that House Files 303, 318 and 330 were all passed without opposition, and that the House is committed to expanding healthcare access and reducing the burdens patients and providers face. He says that HF 303 sets timelines for insurers to respond to prior authorizations, making sure that patients are able to receive care in a timely manner. Sorensen mentions that HF 318 requires equal cost-sharing for supplemental and diagnostic breast imaging, helping to find and detect breast cancer earlier. He adds that HF 330 removes the age and benefit limits currently in place for autism coverage under health plans, which will ensure lifelong support for affected families.
