The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Varsity Boys Basketball Team recently advanced to the state tournament after more than a decade, following a win on Monday.

ADM defeated Pella 52-46 in the Class 3A Region 7 Championship game to punch their ticket to Wells Fargo Arena. In the state qualifying game, junior Hudson Lorensen not only scored a team-high of 24 points, but was able to reach a special milestone of eclipsing 1,000 in his high school career. ADM also beat Clarke Community in the first game of the postseason on February 24th, followed by a 27-point victory against Grinnell on February 27th. ADM will now play Storm Lake this coming Monday at 7:15pm at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
