Last night, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls basketball team competed against North Polk in the semifinals of the girls state basketball tournament. The Mustangs battled hard until the very end, but unfortunately fell to the Comets 52-30 ending the season for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs.

Neela Williamson, Sydney Miller, Devon Carlile, and Avery Short wrap up their careers as Mustang basketball athletes but did it in a big way, making it to the semifinals of the state tournament. Carlile, Williamson and Short would all score in their final game of their careers, helping tie a bow on this 2024-25 Mustang girls basketball season.
