The AC/GC Chargers boys basketball team finished high in the West Central Activities Conference.

The team ended the season in second for the WCAC standings, with their only conference losses coming from the number one team, the Madrid Tigers. The Chargers played Des Moines Christian, Van Meter, Earlham, Pleasantville and Interstate 35 each once during the regular season, putting up high scoring games against all, and having close ones with Des Moines Christian, Van Meter, Earlham and Pleasantville. For the teams they played twice, they had one close game and one blow out win against Woodward-Granger and Ogden, then soundly beat Panorama and West Central Valley in the two games against each team. The Chargers ended the season with a 13-2 record against conference teams, soundly securing that second place conference finish.
