An organization that has a location in Perry, is encouraging people who are looking for a home, to stop out to an event today.

Dallas County Habitat for Humanity is hosting an open house on three available units in the City of Perry. Community Partnership Coordinator Lindsey Rawson Van Wyk tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the homes are eligible for residents that qualify for the affordable mortgage program. She describes that a Habitat representative will be out at the three sites to discuss the eligibility requirements as well as answer any other questions. Van Wyk unveils more about the three units.

“We have two new built homes, both of which are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, but with a possibility of in both of those homes to go up to six bedrooms depending on family size and need. Those two homes also come with attached wooden decks and sheds for storage as well as your own yard. And then we also have a gorgeous renovation, and that is a two bedroom, one bath(room) and comes with a detached garage (and) an electric (garage door) opener as well as a beautiful little cover patio perfect for hosting BBQ’s in the summer.”

Van Wyk outlines that the three homes are located along 780 Graceland Avenue, 1802 Dewey Avenue, and 1823 Lucinda Street. She welcomes people to visit one or all of them if they’d like, as the open house is taking place from 10am-4pm.
