
The Perry School Board will meet in regular session on Monday.
During the meeting, the board will review a resolution for the issuance and providing for and securing the payment of school infrastructure sales, services, and use tax revenue bonds. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include a resolution to appoint a paying agent, bond registrar, and transfer agent; a resolution for a form of tax exemption certificate, a resolution for a continuing disclosure certificate, accepting a bid for teacher laptop computers, accepting a Department of Transportation requirement changes to a policy for a drug and alcohol testing program, and changes to a policy for a post-issuance compliance regulation for tax exempt obligations.
Additional items on the agenda up for approval pertain to the 2025-26 issuance plan and rates through the Iowa Schools Employee Benefits Association, Advantage Administrators, Unum’s Life Insurance and Avesis Eye Care Insurance, a resolution of notice of public hearing for the proposed property tax levy fiscal year 2025-26 for the first public hearing as well as publishing the proposed 2025-26 budget for a second public hearing, accept a budget guarantee resolution, and the 2025-26 Area Education Agency Cooperative Purchasing Agreement.
The meeting is set to take place inside the Brady Library at Perry High School, 1200 18th Street, Monday evening at 6pm.
