Greene County boys’ head track & field coach Chad Morton has a quad of 40 out for the sport. With those numbers, Morton feels like the Rams will be able to fill all or most of Iowa high school track & field’s 19 events consistently.
“About 10 of those are throwers, so with the remaining numbers, I feel good about what we can put on the track and we look forward to filling those events.”
The Rams begin the indoor season tomorrow at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls for the A.D. Dickinson Relays. It’s a one class meet with no team scoring and schools of all sizes and varying parts of the state will be taking part.
