The high schools in Guthrie County sent their respective FFA Chapters to the District Contest on Saturday.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center and Panorama competed at Greene County High School, while West Central Valley was at Murray High School. AC/GC had four events receive Gold Ratings, with their Reporter’s Scrapbook and Treasurer’s Book both advancing to the State Contest. Advisor Skie Shull shares how she feels about the work the Chapter has put in this year.

“As an advisor, I’m extremely proud of this group. They’ve worked really hard to make sure that their goals are set in place and that they meet their goals. Our reporters put together a great scrapbook this year and our treasurer put together their book. Some of these members have been extremely busy. They’re a hardworking group and I’m so proud to have them in our chapter.”

AC/GC also received a Silver Rating in seven events and eight members that received Gold Ratings and 23 members that received Silver Ratings between the Discovery, Greenhand and Farm Business Management Quizzes. West Central Valley sent their Parliamentary Procedures team to Districts, and came away with a Gold Rating. They also had three members receive the Academic Achievement Award, and the Chapter was recognized as a Superior National Chapter.
