The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball team is starting their quest for a state championship title tonight, taking on a school from northwest Iowa.
ADM will be battling Storm Lake in the Class 3A Quarterfinal game at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The Tigers won their regional championship game versus Pella 52-46, while the Tornadoes defeated Gilbert 73-57. Both teams have had over a decade drought of making the state tournament, as ADM last appeared in 2012, and for Storm Lake, it was back in 1994.

For the Tornadoes, it’s junior Jaidyn Coon hovering around 24 points per contest on 57 percent shooting and 34 percent from the three point line.
