10:29am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near E Avenue.

11:17am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 1000 block of 230th Street.

12:16pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 1500 block of 265th Street.

1:56pm Angel Valdivia 60 of Carroll was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance.

4:28pm: Danyell Freeman 48 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

7:04pm: A deputy assisted with a jack-knifed semi on West Main Street and 10th Street, Grand Junction.

9:21pm: A deputy removed a tree from the roadway on North 16th Street and Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

10:28pm: A deputy investigated a downed power line on U Avenue near 170th Street.

11:46pm: A deputy assisted with a jack-knifed semi on 220th Street and Grimmel

Wednesday, March 5th

12:29am: A deputy assisted a stuck motorist in the 1000 block of East Lincoln Way.

2:00am: Through the rest of the day the Sheriff and deputies assisted with 62 stranded motorists all over the county.

11:31am: The Sheriff, Secondary Roads, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a medical call in the 800 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

3:44pm: The Sheriff conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of J Avenue. The occupant was brought to town.

7:33pm: The Sheriff and a deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of H Avenue. The two occupants were brought to Jefferson.

8:38pm: The Sheriff, Jefferson Police Department, and Jefferson Fire Department responded to a fire in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Way.

Thursday, March 6th

8:52am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover on 220th Street and D Avenue.

Victor Fernandez of Des Moines was west bound on 220th and lost control of a 2003 Chevrolet Express van and rolled in the ditch totaling the vehicle.

9:15am: Christopher Reber 56 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for gambling- avoid setoff and fraudulent practices.

11:37am: A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 500 block of Head Street, Churdan.

2:40pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1500 block of Neola Avenue.

4:15pm: A deputy investigated a scam complaint in the 1800 block of 220th Street.

4:46pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 1000 block of Main Street, Grand Junction.

5:00pm: A deputy investigated a dog complaint in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

5:43pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 195th Street and R Avenue.

10:34pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 1600 block of E Avenue.

Friday, March 7th

5:00am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of School Street, Churdan.

6:04am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 140th Street near K Avenue.

7:58am: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near K Avenue.

3:50pm: William Poio 50 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

5:24pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.

10:07pm: Neal Schoon 61 of Bayard was booked into the jail for two counts of violating a no contact order.

Saturday, March 8th

5:58am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 330th Street near Brentwood Avenue. Jacob Reiling of Coon Rapids lost control of his 2017 GMC Sierra and entered the ditch. The vehicle had an estimated 12,000 dollars in damage.

11:26am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on I Avenue near Fitzpatrick Street, Churdan.

4:18pm: Joseph Blackmon 48 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for theft 5th degree, unauthorized use of a credit card, and a violation of probation.

4:36pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.

11:47pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of Fitzpatrick Street, Churdan.

Sunday, March 9th

7:31am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on Neola Avenue near 330th Street. Ashley Clark of Yale was driving North on Neola Avenue near 330th Street and struck a deer. Clark was driving a 2017 Dodge Journey. The estimated damage to the vehicle is 8,000 dollars.

3:51pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near Elm Street.

4:26pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 600 block of Hill Street, Churdan.

5:12pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 1000 block of Hill Street, Churdan.

6:38pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 277th Street and Redwood Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
