March 5th

Christopher Pappas, Dallas Center, was driving on Sugar Grove Ave, Dallas Center, when he struck a fire truck that was stopped to assist another motorist.  The lights were activated on the fire truck when it was truck.  No injuries were reported.  Damage to the Dallas Center Fire Truck was estimated at $4000.  Damage to Mr. Pappas’ vehicle was estimated at $10000.

March 6th

Dylan Moran, Mount Prospect, IL, was driving on Kenyon Summit Road at R Ave, when he was unable to stop due to ice on the roadway.  He collided with a vehicle driven by Brooklyn Varvel of Adel.  No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Varvel’s vehicle was estimated at $10000.  Damage to Mr. Moran’s vehicle was estimated at $6000.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
