As the 2025 soccer season looms, Adel-DeSoto-Minburn’s first year Girls Head Coach Rachel Harada discusses the strength of the conference schedule.

ADM girls are gearing up to start practice, with the first game happening towards the end of the month. Harada tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she was hired to her first coaching position and has always had dreams of leading a team, especially her alma mater. She is a 2011 graduate of ADM and was apart of a Tiger team that brought six straight Raccoon River Conference Championships to Adel. However, she knows that there has been a massive improvement over the past 14 years.

“Every game we play within our conference is a challenge and it’s going to require us to be really focused and ready to play when we step on the field.”

ADM marked a 9-8 overall record in 2024, going 5-2 (third place) in the RRC. Harada admits that she’s feeling anxious, but excited to get to meet the girls on the team and hopes to have a fun, successful season. The Tigers will participate in a scrimmage against Johnston on March 27th.
