Spring practices continue to begin for schools across the state. Soccer and Golf practices are allowed to get underway at Perry High School. Jacob Enderton returns to coach the boys while James Kingsley is back for the girls.
The Bluejays struggled to fill out a roster last year. The boys weren’t able to compete in most team meets due to low numbers. Reinforcements look to be on the way with some first time golfers going out for the team.
The Jayettes were loaded with seniors last year. Coach Kingsley still has a full contingent of girls despite the loss from graduation.
The season starts on April 8 in Ballard for the Jayettes. The Bluejays will open on April 10 at home against Des Moines Christian and Greene County.
