Practice is already underway for Perry soccer.  The squad has a new coach, Cesar Hernandez, but a lot of returning talent.  The Jayettes scored just 25 goals last season as they went 4-14.  19 of those goals scored return a year older.  Yamilet Gonzalez and Cate Erickson return as leading scorers at 6 a piece.  Ayden Erickson chipped in 4 while returning captain, Amy Diaz, had two.

Coach Hernandez is optimistic in year one.  “There’s a lot of girls that I see potential.  Seniors that I that I seen so far.  I also seen some freshmen’s coming in I think they’re going to be, they’re just going to be a good team.”
