Guthrie County Hospital Specialty Clinics recently announced an expansion of their services.

The specialty clinics will begin providing allergy, asthma and immunology care through a partnership with Iowa Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. These new services are designed to assist the hospital’s patients who are dealing with allergic conditions, respiratory issues and immune disorders. Dr. Vuong Nayima, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Nicolas Rains, Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C), and Patrick Thompson, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) will be in charge of administering the full spectrum of diagnostic testing and treatment options at the clinic. Patients can check the clinic’s calendar to see what days the different services are being provided at GCH, as providers from around the state visit the hospital at certain times of the month.
