Perry girls soccer has a goal of new uniforms. First year coach, Cesar Hernandez, wants to replace the black kit with a blue one.

The Jayettes and McDonald’s in Perry teamed up last week for McTeacher Night. The Golden Arches gave 20% of the sales to the girls soccer team. Perry was able to raise $712 from the fundraiser.

On top of new uniforms, Coach Hernandez wants to get the team some long sleeve warm-ups. The start of the spring soccer season can be cold and he wants the girls to stay warm.

The Jayettes are in spring break currently, but still practicing twice a week. The first match is March 31 at Dewey Field against Des Moines Christian.
