The season may be over for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls basketball team but the accolades keep coming in for sophomore Macy Meyer. Meyer had an incredible season, leading the Mustangs in points with 324 and averaged 15.4 points per game.

In her second year with the program, Meyer was named 1st Team All Conference for the Little Hawkeye Conference, was placed on the IBCA All Region Team by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association, and the IGCA 4A Central All District Team for the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Meyer’s impact this season lead to more recognition as well, as Meyer was placed on the IPSWA 2nd Team All State team for the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association.
