The Dallas County Hospital Foundation is planning on raising money to make several upgrades throughout the facility.
According to Director of Public Relations and Marketing Tom Harmsen, the foundation was able to donate $1 million in charity care to serve community organizations around Dallas County in 2024. He details that this year, the foundation will use their funds to buy a new electronic Highway 141 sign to provide a more visible spectacle to drivers.
Harmsen shares that the hospital is putting a focus on regularly updating residents on new providers, service lines, and events to further emphasize the care close to home. He concludes that significant work is happening to upgrade the donor walls and that there will be a recognition event scheduled for this fall.
