Deb McGinn, 2023 ABC Award Winner

Jefferson Matters is looking for nominations for an annual award.

The Above and Beyond the Call (ABC) Award is given to an individual or a couple who, through their personal involvement, leadership qualities and giving of themselves with their time and talent, made a positive impact on activities or accomplishments that have benefitted the community at large. Last year’s recipient was Deb McGinn who is the Tower View Team Chair.

According to the ABC Selection Committee, eligible nominees should exhibit, but are not limited to, qualities and accomplishments such as being involved in a range of activities for community betterment with those activities not being an extension of their business interests, along with having leadership qualities, capabilities to initiate and carry out community projects, and that they possess characteristics that would produce harmony and good will in promoting worthy projects.

The deadline to submit an application is April 4th at 4pm to the Welcome Center at Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County, or online by clicking here. The awardee will be honored at this year’s Community Appreciation Night on April 27th.
