The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield is bringing in the next performance for their 2024-25 All Iowa Series.

Iowa native and singer/songwriter Carol Montag is doing a concert next Saturday, March 29th at 7pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she grew up with a love for music, learning piano and guitar. She explains that she took a bit of a break from music in college, but after she married and moved, she felt a calling to return to music.

“I moved to Cedar Rapids and I worked at Rockwell International for six and a half years and while I was working at Rockwell, I decided to try singing in restaurants. And so I did that, and from there went on to singing at music festivals, and colleges, and art council performances, and things like that, and house concerts.”

Montag says that she has a variety of songs she likes to play, some original, some cover songs, some silly and some serious. Adult tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or online, with free admission for students high school aged and younger.
