
Perry graduate Emmalee Bell is performing well in her first year of collegiate softball. In her final season of high school, Bell hit .359 with 5 homeruns and 20 RBI’s. In her first go around with college pitching, she is hitting .429 for the Ellsworth Panthers in Iowa Falls. The freshman has played in 15 games as Ellsworth Community College sits at 9-8. She ranks third for the Panthers in Average, On-Base Percentage, and Slugging. The righthanded hitter has hit routinely in the middle of the lineup and been used primarily as the designated player.
Ellsworth has been off since March 14. They return to action Thursday against Central Community College-Columbus before conference play beginning on Saturday at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska.
